Rottter-dammnnnn son!!
Rotterdam is a great place to ride street. I enjoyed that video of those dudes riding down that crazy building with lights on their bikes. Even if it did have a little too much camera trickery to be Jackie Chan approved. More people should look to jackie for BMX inspirations. Being a big fan of Jackie i know he has mad skills on a bike. Seat surfer hippy jump to peds?
bthomehub
Ive got a BThome hub so more posts should appear again. work on the sidehack/scraphack has begun. I’m in need of more tubing to make any more progress. So if anyone has any old parts/frames to donate to the sidehack cause I’d be very grateful. I’ll even give you a tshirt or something? There are lots of great sidehack photos and videos on the net. this is my favourite construction Plus they are total deathtraps. That combined with poor/cowboy build quality should create something spectacular.
If it gets built hopefully there will be some footage appearing b4 Pete Greaves next video release. Its going to prem on Friday 27th November at the Tyne Bar. trailer here.
chris lee is riding a make frame. This is old news but I just found the photo. if nothing else it makes this blog appear to have real news on it. something which it has had a lack of recently.

Sunday 14th November
Today was rememberance Sunday. I slpet late, chilled in the front room, had some food from the greasy spoon and eventually went riding. We headed out to Gateshead to ride some ledge which is in a roundabout. On our way up we rode past some guy in a wheelchair who had no legs and no hands. He was chillin on the curb in a wheelchair with 2 flat tyres. He stuck out his arm and shouted he needed a hand, the irony was incredible. He was after getting across the street, so I left my bike with the boys and helped the dude out. Once we had got across the street he then wanted me to take him Tesco, on we went. On the way down he griefed me loads about not pushing him right and not following his directions fast enough. We talked a bit and I found out his name was Davey. Davey was wearing a blue shirt with NHS wrote on it. He was bald, had a bit of a beard and looked well haggerd. He must have been 70 odd? When we got to Tesco he then wanted me to go in a buy 2 jumbo bottles of Hock and 20 Superkings. I parked him up and went into Tesco with his money. Davey put alot of trust into someone he saw ride a bike past him just so he could get his alcohol and nicotine fix. I’m not a robber and I like to sleep at night so he was lucky to pick me to shout at. I got his shit and then i had to wheel him back up the hill to his flat. On the way back up he talked about the war and how he was on a warship at 17. I guess this is how he lost his legs but i didnt like to ask cos he was already in tears about how his “horrible life”. We then had a conversation about god and going to church. He told me “God isnt a destroyer, he is a giver of life not a taker”. I then wheeled him into his house which he had left the door wide open to. There wasnt actually anything to steal apart from a bed, it was pretty bare. I opened his bottles of wine and left them on the floor and shut the door on the way out. He gave me alot of stick but he was stoked i helped him out, maybe we will meet again some time? The whole experience made me think about the war and all the fallen soldeirs. It happend on rememberance Sunday as well which was double weird? Fate must be trying to tell me something?
that happend way back a couple of weeks later davey was on the front cover of the chronicle after having got an asbo for racially abusing someone.
